General Terms and Conditions

Art. 1 – Introduction

SOCIETE WEILL is a société par actions simplifiées company [a French corporation] with capital of € 16,159,500 and listed on the Registre du Commerce et des Sociétés de Paris [Paris register of trade and companies] under the numbers SIREN 789 887 403 and NAF 1413 Z. The company has its registered office at 11 bis Avenue Mac Mahon - 75017 PARIS,France.
SOCIETE WEILL sells a selection of items ((textiles, leather goods and accessories) from the WEILL and W de WEILL collections through its E-boutique.

Art. 2 – Terminology

The "E-boutique" with the address www.weill.com is the web store set up by the company WEILL referred to as "WEILL".
The "customer", who can only be an ultimate consumer, places an "order", on the website in the manner intended, for "products" for "delivery" to a specified address.

Art. 3 – Scope

WEILL may update its General Terms and Conditions of Sale at any time. The current version of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale will be the one available on the site at the time the order is placed. WEILL undertakes to inform its clients of any substantial modification by means of a notice visible on the home page of the site.


By placing your order, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions of sale. Please ensure that you have read and understood them before placing your order.

Art. 4 – Orders

For the products on sale, WEILL proposes photos, a description, the list of colours and sizes available and the sales price, including VAT or other sales tax payable, when "See details" is clicked.

WEILL offers the following for its products on sale: photos, a description, a list of available colours and sizes and the selling price including VAT. When there is only one colour for the product, only the sizes for which pieces are available are displayed.

Depending on the computer hardware used by the customer, the rendering of the colours and forms may be imprecise. WEILL cannot be held liable for any inaccuracies in the information on the products offered for sale on the website, especially the rendering of the photos. Such information is to be used purely as a guide.


The E-boutique customer service team will be pleased to answer any questions customers may have about the products or the procedures to be followed (see Article 9).


When the customer orders products by clicking on "Added to cart", these are placed in the cart. It is the customer’s responsibility to check the contents of the cart are correct before confirming and paying for the order. Cart contents can be amended or the cart cancelled.

Connection to the website is interrupted in the event of prolonged inactivity of more than 30 minutes. The customer must then reconnect to reconstitute his/her cart.
An order which has been confirmed by payment can no longer be amended on the website.

A confirmation email is sent to customers who can also consult their order history and details in the "My Account" section.
Customers can track their orders and print out their invoices at any time.WEILL reserves the right to cancel any order which seems suspect or made by a customer who has previously infringed the terms and conditions of sale, or on any other legitimate grounds.

- How can I order?

1: Choose your items and the size you want, then add them to your cart. You can check the contents of your cart at any time and obtain detailed information on each product by clicking on ‘Cart’. Once you have added your first item, you can continue shopping by selecting "Continue shopping".

2. When your cart is ready, click on "Checkout".

3. Once you have checked your cart, you can then log in to your customer account by clicking on "Log in" or create an account if you do not already have one, or continue your order as a guest.

4. You will then need to fill in your contact details, complete your delivery address and choose the delivery method you prefer.

5. Finally, fill in your bank details and choose your payment method, then click on "Pay now". Payment of your order implies full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

6. Your order will then be validated and a confirmation email will be sent to you.

Art. 5 – Pricing

Prices are in euros, inclusive of any VAT or other sales tax payable. WEILL reserves the right to change its prices at any time.
The relevant prices are those indicated at the time of the customer's confirmation of the order on the website.
If however, despite our vigilance, a displayed price proves to be clearly erroneous, WEILL reserves the right to cancel an order or to agree with the customer to honour the order at a price WEILL considers to be correct.

Art. 6 – Payment

Payment of the invoice corresponding to the order may only be made by CB bank card, Visa, Eurocard, MasterCard or American Express via the Elysnet system, a secure anti-credit card fraud payment system operated by the HSBC bank, which is the sole collector of the customer's confidential data.


Upon authorization by the banking establishments, the amount is debited immediately and the order confirmed. Debit of the amount may be deferred depending on the customer‘s card agreement. Should authorization be refused, WEILL informs the customer by email that the order has been cancelled.


The customer must be legally able to enter into a contract and must be authorized to use the bank card of which he/she is the holder.
As WEILL does not have access to customer banking data, customers are asked to enter their bank details each time they order.

Art. 7 – Deliveries

Special periods (outlet, private sales or sales) can extend preparation times


No modification of the order on the articles is possible after having placed this one.


It is not possible to change the delivery address or cancel your order once it has been placed.

The shipping costs are the responsibility of the recipient, customs fees and import taxes will apply in addition to your order and apply according to the country of destination.

Despite its best efforts, WEILL cannot guarantee that orders will be delivered in full.
Should shortages be noted after order confirmation or during order preparation, the customer is sent an email as soon as possible informing him/her of the items that cannot be delivered. The balance of the order can still be delivered as normal. If the shortages apply to the entire order, the customer is informed in the same way as above of cancellation of the order.

In the event of partial delivery or cancellation in full of an order because of shortages, and where payment has already been made by the customer, WEILL agrees to promptly refund the amount corresponding to the undelivered items to the bank card used to pay for the order. The value date of the credited amount will depend on the customer's card agreement. In the event of issues with the value date, customers should check that WEILL has processed the refund and then contact their bank.
The complete order is then delivered to the address specified by the customer when ordering. Weill cannot be held responsible for an error in the delivery address indicated by the customer.


WEILL has chosen the Colissimo tracked parcel delivery service operated by the French post office Le Poste.
Once Le Poste has taken charge of the package, a link showing the Colissimo package number is sent to the client allowing the customer to track delivery via the www.colissimo.fr website.


Except in exceptional circumstances (stocktaking, holidays, etc.) or in the event of other delays in the post, WEILL makes every effort to deliver customer orders within 5 working days in France but will not be held liable for any delay as this delivery time is only a guide.


Customers are strongly advised to inspect deliveries and record any reservations in the presence of the delivery person if the outer packaging has been tampered with or is damaged in any way. The WEILL delivery note(s) is (are) attached to the package for this purpose.


Any claims are to be made to Le Poste, the French postal service, under the conditions specified by the latter.
For the delivery abroad, WEILL choose Colissimo or Chronopost Express.

For orders outside of France, when the exported package reaches its destination, the recipient must pay the taxes or customs duty that apply to the country of destination. The customs regulations vary from one country to the other. Local authorities can provide this information.

Art. 8 – Returns

In accordance with article L 121-20 of the French Consumer Code, the customer has a right of withdrawal which may be exercised within 14 calendar days of receipt of delivery, without having to justify the reason and without penalty.


However, failure to comply with the WEILL returns procedure set out below may result in the return being refused.


- Returning an item from France:


You can return your products free of charge* by post within 14 days in order to obtain a refund.


Please find below the return procedure:


1. Please ensure that you respect the 14-day period following receipt of your order.


2. Circle the item to be returned on the delivery note and slip it into the return parcel.


3. Click on this link: https://www.weill.com/a/return


4. Fill in our returns form with your email address and your order number, in the following format: 0000XXXX.


5. Indicate the reason for the return and confirm.

6. Print the returns label to stick on the parcel and return your item in perfect condition, unworn and labelled.

If you do not follow this procedure, your return may be refused.

Your order will be refunded within a maximum of 14 days of receipt of the products in our warehouse. Only unworn and undirty items will be refunded. The item must be returned in its original packaging with its label.

- INTERNATIONAL returns :

The return is the responsibility of the customer. Indicate on the delivery slip in your package or on a piece of free paper your name, order number and the items you are returning. You can return your items to the following address :

You have 14 days to make your choice. Items must be returned unoworn, with their tag. 

For returned orders, the customer must pay any taxes or customs duties that may apply. Customs policies vary from country. We recommend that you contact your local authorities for further information. 

For orders paid with Paypal, the return costs can be refunded to you by Paypal on request.

Failure to observe the WEILL returns procedure described above may lead to your return being refused.

For all approved returns, refunds are processed within a maximum of 15 days from receipt of the returns package. Refunds are issued to the credit card used to pay for the order and the amount refunded is that of the initial price paid for the item(s).


The value date of the credited amount depends on the customer‘s card agreement. In the event of issues with the value date, customers should check that WEILL has processed the refund and then contact their bank.

Returns to a WEILL store, exchanges or C.O.D returns cannot be accepted.

Moreover, during the Braderie, delivery is free for all purchases over €150. Below this amount, a €5 delivery charge applies. So, following a return, if the remaining order is less than €150, this €5 will also be deducted from the refund.

If your order includes Braderie items and items from current collections, the cost of returning items from current collections is free.

Art. 9 - Customers Service E-boutique

You can contact the client service either by e-mail thanks to the address: e-boutique@weill.fr , or by messaging, or by the section “contact” of the website. Our phone number: 01 49 25 19 23 is accessible Monday through Fridays, from 9 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 5 pm.

This department is able to respond to any request for information, complaint or any other question concerning sales on the site in French as well as in English.

Art. 10 - Protection of private life

WEILL commits to retaining the contact details entered by the customer on the website during account creation only for the purpose of ensuring the delivery of orders, and to inform them by mail, email, or SMS about potential marketing offers from WEILL SAS, the WEILL store network, and WEILL STOCK.

The Customer is informed and agrees that their personal data may be collected on the Site and used by WEILL SAS, which acts as the data controller under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament regarding the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter "General Data Protection Regulation" or "GDPR").

WEILL SAS is committed to protecting and ensuring the security and confidentiality of its Customers' personal data in accordance with the GDPR, including taking all necessary precautions to prevent the data from being distorted, damaged, or accessed by unauthorized third parties.

In particular, the personal data of Customers may be transmitted to service providers and contractual partners who, as processors under the GDPR, intervene and directly contribute to the management of Orders and for whom access to the personal data provided by the Customer during account creation and use is absolutely necessary (identity, postal address, phone number, email address).

The personal data of Customers is collected for the following purposes:

Managing Orders and customer relations;

Informing Customers about offers and commercial information related to the brand;

Enhancing and improving communication on the Website and the brand by sending, in particular, newsletters and special offers based on the Customer's preferences observed on the Site;

Improving and personalizing services offered to Customers;

Compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.

The Customer's personal data is retained only for the time strictly necessary in relation to the previously stated purposes.

In accordance with the GDPR and the French Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, the customer has the right to access, correct, and delete their data by submitting a request by email or mail to the WEILL SAS Customer Service, by filling out the contact form on the site, or by writing to the following address: WEILL SAS Customer Service, 11 bis Avenue Mac Mahon - 75017 PARIS FRANCE, including their name, surname, email address, and customer reference.

Each request must be signed and accompanied by a photocopy of an identity document bearing the Customer's signature and must specify the reply address.

The response to a request made on the basis of one or more Data Protection Rights will be provided within 2 months following receipt of the request.

The Customer may provide WEILL SAS with specific instructions on how they wish their Data Protection Rights to be exercised after their death, in accordance with the GDPR.

Art. 11 - Intellectual property

Brands WEILL and W of WEILL, the photos, visuals and other descriptions on the website are and will remain the exclusive property of the WEILL SAS companies.


Any reproduction or use that it is total or partial of these elements is strictly forbidden.

Art. 12 - Responsibilities

General terms of sale, written in French (translated in English), are regulated and subject to French law.Ownership transfer of products intervenes after the payment, duly accepted by the banking bodies, of the invoice.

The transfer of risk intervenes during the delivery of products not THE POST OFFICE at the indicated address not the customer during its order.WEILL can't be responsible to the non-fulfillment of the Concluded contract in case of Stock shortage, unavailability of products, strike of the postal services or any other coincidence or of Case of absolute necessity which prevents or delays the execution of its obligations.

In case of dispute, the customer must send a mail to the Customer Service to the address E-boutique@weill.fr . This try to find the best solution.Should the opposite occur, the disputes are submitted to the French laws.

Art. 13 - E-Gift Card

Validity of the Card

The e-gift card is valid for one year from the date of purchase. After this period, the card can no longer be used.

Validity Only on the Website

The e-gift card is valid only for purchases made on our website, weill.com. It cannot be used in our physical stores or with other partners.

How to Receive My Gift Card ?

If you wish to give the card to someone, you can enter their details at checkout so they will receive the card directly in their email inbox. Otherwise, it will be sent to you, and you can transfer it to the person of your choice afterward.

How to Check the Balance ?

To check the remaining balance of your e-gift card, you can visit the dedicated page on our website or contact our customer service. The balance is updated after each transaction made with the card.

How Refunds Work ?

In accordance with our policy, the e-gift card cannot be returned or refunded. If a refund is issued for an order paid with an e-gift card, the amount will be credited back to the gift card itself as a balance. No cash or store credit refund is possible.

Payment Method (One-time or Installments)

Our e-gift card can be supplemented with another payment method if the purchase amount exceeds the available balance on the e-gift card. The remaining balance can be paid by credit card, PayPal account, or any other payment method accepted on our website.

How to Use It on the Website (Step by Step) ?

Visit our website, weill.com, and add items to your cart.

During checkout, enter the unique code from your e-gift card, which you received via email, in the “gift card” section.

If the order total exceeds the value of the e-gift card, you can complete the payment with another payment method.

Finalize the order and confirm the purchase.

What to Do in Case of Loss or Theft of the Gift Card ?

Unfortunately, the gift card cannot be exchanged, replaced, or refunded in case of loss or theft.
